First Engineering Project from 1994

This was my first ever engineering project which was the design, manufacturing and construction of a stainless steel chimney for a battery plant in Kurtköy Istanbul. It was an ~80cm inner diameter stainless steel chimney with rock wool thermal insulation and aluminium cladding on the outside. The support steel structure was also designed by me. I was working at Endem Construction back then as a junior mechanical engineer, fresh out of the university. Even back then I knew that construction sites were going to be my future workingplace. I simply love sitework.

After completing this project, I've coded a software (via gwbasic) which calculated / verified the necessary chimney height and diamater, according to various parameters (according to DIN standarts) Unfortunately I do not have access to this software anymore.
